Hauf an’ a Hauf

The phrase “hauf an’ a hauf” describes the Scots’ tradition of enjoying a dram of whisky with a half pint of beer chaser. You can do this in epic style by sampling a selection of Tomatin Distillery’s soft and mellow malts followed by a generous tasting session at the Cairngorm Brewery. Tours of each facility will be provided along with a visit to the Rothiemurchus Farmshop.

Moray Coast & The Speyside Malts

Embark on a tour of the Moray Firth Coast, visiting two distilleries on the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail and a busy wee craft brewery. To complement this tasting experience, travel to Lossiemouth, the Jewel of the Moray Firth, with its yachting marina and historic harbour, to enjoy a leisurely lunch at a bustling popular seafront restaurant.

The Highland Malts

Spend a day in picturesque Ross-shire visiting two world class malt whisky distilleries blended with a leisurely lunch at an award winning country house hotel. You will have the opportunity to sample a range of delectable Highland malts making for an informative and enjoyable day out.

Highland Gin Fling

While famous for producing whisky, the craftsmen of Speyside have been creating some delightful alternatives to Scotland’s national drink. On this trip you will visit Balmenach Distillery, home of Caorunn Gin, where you will be treated to a behind-the-scenes tour and tutored tasting session. The day also includes a visit to Dava School House for a highly informative Highland coffee tasting session. The tour concludes with a trip to Rothiemurchus farm shop with its fine collection of Highland gins.
